BLACKBIRD AIR provides a range of premium, tailored flight services to companies, groups and individuals

Since our beginnings in January 2015, BLACKBIRD AIR has had a vision to offer exceptional flight experiences, efficient and tailored air transport to both companies, groups and individuals.

Based in our central location at Billund Airport, our largest asset is 35 employees, who form an elite team of dedicated and professional aircraft nerds, who all have a desire to provide world-class service.

In 2017, we took the step from operating as an air brokerage company to receiving the Danish Transport Authority’s approval as a commercial aviation operator with its own fleet and our own AOC (Air Operator Certificate). In 2021, we opened our own private terminal with exclusive facilities for our customer groups, which now also includes customers who use our FBO services (fixed base operator).

By focusing on quality rather than quantity, we have been able to succeed in being frontrunners in our niche, which are VIP and business aircraft. That is why BLACKBIRD AIR is now also going all in on a future with more sustainable and green flights. Both we and our customers want to take responsibility for reducing the impact on the environment. We have ensured that all our aircrafts can fly on 100% biofuel. We are already refueling our aircraft with SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuels), wherever possible. But our biggest issue is access to more climate-friendly fuel.

With a goal of developing greener energy in a strong local collaboration, we are convinced that the PtX technology and collaboration in TEA is a strong platform and a key step for us to be at the forefront of more sustainable air transport.
