Ambitious green agenda

In the city of Kolding’s growth and business development policy, sustainability is highlighted as our point of orientation and driving force, as Kolding leads the way for a sustainable future.

In our sustainability strategy we also define the potentials of a sustainable society by 2030, which will bring new levels of quality of life and sustainable growth based on circular economy.

It is fair to say that our ambitions are high regarding environment, climate, and sustainability.

One of the goals of our sustainability strategy is, that by 2030 at least half of the entire city demand for electricity are produced within city limits on sustainable sources.

If we are to succeed in this endeavour, we require a strong collaboration with businesses on green solutions, exactly as we see with the Power to X- partnership.
