Middelfart Kommune

The city of Middelfart aims to be one of the Danish municipalities that History will tell, was one of the most climate proactive municipalities, showing the path towards carbon neutral goals.

We will be Denmarks leading City on Climate. We will show the way, make great impact and involve citizens, associations, schools, companies, work places, and so forth, in specific initiatives that strengthen community, and progresses green transition.

This is the City Council vision, as declared in “Planstrategi 2019”. Our vision is founded in a strong commitment between decision makers. An important initiative is energy collaborations, and Power to X is an essential example.

For this purpose, we developed “Klimalaboratoriet”, a Climate Laboratory, to demonstrate several initiatives.
